Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy at the Nursing Center enhances your motor and muscle skills and helps you enjoy moving through your day, as we work with and encourage you in your program. Our therapists assess your needs and help you build a personalized program; giving you the choices you need to strengthen your body and improve your movement.

We offer assistance in areas such as walking, canes, braces and prosthetics. Your program can also be designed to include the treatment of pain, wounds, balance disorders, as well as general functional loss and safety issues. Treatment regimens, including, ultra sound, electrical stimulation, hot packs, ice, whirlpool and exercise protocols are among the many services we also offer.

When you have a physical injury or illness, your focus is to get back to living your life the fullest, so you want rehab services that can get you there as quickly as possible. At our rehab center you’ll work with an experienced team using a creative individualized approach to address your specific problem. Rehab patients are assisted in their goals for recovery in a home like environment by a team of caring and highly qualified rehabilitation professionals in a large new state of the art therapy room fully equipped with the most modern equipment available. Following an evaluation of one’s functional abilities, an individualized rehab program is developed. Rehab services, including Physical, Occupational & Speech therapy are provided as prescribed by the attending physician.

We think it's great that pets can come visit anytime because we missed our pets at first. Since we've been here, we enjoy weekly visits with Shep the golden retriever, every day we can visit with Mystic the facility cat. Not to mention the fact that the zoo brings in animals and we've been on outings with the activity department on the facility bus to go to the Columbus Zoo and to a horse farm where we could pet the horses and we enjoyed a cookout."
